Internet Democracy Project
In 2011, while living in India, I founded the Internet Democracy Project, which I directed until it closed in 2021. The Internet Democracy Project worked towards realising feminist visions of the digital in society, by exploring & addressing power imbalances in the areas of norms, governance & infrastructure. At the heart of our work was the ground-breaking research that we conducted, centring the realities of marginalised people in the country. We then translated this research into policy recommendations relevant not only to the Indian context, but well beyond.
